A message from Dr. Murphy
Dear Beulah Middle School Community,
As we look ahead to the 2025-2026 school year, I am excited to share with you our continued commitment to fostering a truly student-centered educational experience here at Beulah Middle School. Our focus remains clear: to provide each student with the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
At Beulah Middle School, being student-centered means placing our students at the heart of everything we do. It means creating a learning environment where every student feels valued, supported, and challenged to reach their fullest potential. In the coming year, we are dedicated to enhancing personalized learning pathways, ensuring that each student's unique strengths and needs are recognized and addressed.
Our faculty and staff are committed to implementing innovative teaching practices that cater to diverse learning styles and interests, fostering a dynamic and engaging classroom experience. We will continue to integrate technology in meaningful ways to enhance learning outcomes and prepare our students for the future. Additionally, our comprehensive student support services will be further strengthened to provide academic guidance, socio-emotional support, and extracurricular opportunities that enrich the overall middle school experience.
As we embark on this exciting journey through the 2025-2026 school years, I encourage each of you—students, parents, teachers, and community members—to actively participate in and contribute to our student-centered approach. Your involvement and feedback are invaluable as we strive to create a nurturing environment where every student can excel and feel empowered to achieve their dreams.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Together, let's make the 2025-2026 school year at Beulah Middle School truly remarkable for our students.
Go Bears!

Brandi Gentry
With over two decades of experience in education, Brandi Gentry is a passionate and dynamic leader committed to student achievement and educator support. Now entering her 22nd year in the field, Ms. Gentry brings a wide range of experience from the classroom to district leadership.
She spent 10 years teaching English, including Honors and Advanced Placement Language and Composition at the high school level, where she inspired students to think critically and write with purpose. During her time at EHS, she served as the school’s first PBIS Coach, establishing the program and leading the inaugural team. In addition to her academic roles, she coached multiple varsity sports, including girls basketball, swim, softball, and JV soccer.
Her leadership journey continued as an assistant principal at the elementary level, where she launched mentoring initiatives in partnership with UWF Football and West Florida High School Baseball, significantly increasing mentorship opportunities for young boys.
Ms. Gentry then served five years as Program Director for Pace Center for Girls, a nonprofit dedicated to serving at-promise girls. Under her leadership, the center achieved record-breaking results—graduating 101 girls, improving the school to a “Complementary” grade (equivalent to an A), raising enrollment, increasing staff and student satisfaction, and ranking in the top 3 centers statewide in key performance indicators.
Currently, in her third year as a middle school assistant principal, Ms. Gentry has led efforts to reduce the number of overage students and implemented instructional practices that contributed to Beulah Middle earning a “B” school grade for the first time in its history.
Driven by a deep belief in the power of education, Ms. Gentry is most fulfilled by her daily interactions with students—mentoring, guiding, and supporting them through the complex journey of adolescence. She is equally passionate about empowering educators, helping them grow professionally, and navigating both the triumphs and challenges of teaching.
"Everything you go through, grows you."

Dawn Inman
Dear Bears Family,
It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself as a newly appointed assistant principal of Beulah Middle School! I am incredibly honored to have been chosen to work alongside Dr. Murphy and Ms. Gentry to lead the instructional efforts at Beulah MS. We are extremely fortunate to serve such a supportive community of dedicated teachers, involved parents, and diverse learners.
During my 23-year career as an educator, I have served students as both a teacher and an administrator. I started my career here in Escambia County and worked at Ransom Middles School before relocating to the Memphis area and working there for 10 years as a teacher and administrator. Upon my return to Escambia County, I worked at Bellview Middle School as an instructional coach and the past 2 years as an assistant principal at Ernest Ward Middle School. I encourage you to join me in supporting a culture of excellence by actively participating in your child's educational experience.
During my free time, I enjoy deep sea fishing with my husband on our boat or just cruising around the coast and of course, watching football!
I look forward to meeting you and your family at Beulah Middle School throughout the year!
