APPROVED CURRICULUM
Department of Health staff will provide instruction to students in select schools
on the following topics: 5210, and Handwashing. The materials have been
reviewed and approved by the District Health Services Coordinator, Martha Hanna RNMenstrual hygiene products are provided for students in all school clinics as available.Help Keep Your School Safe:Practice good hygiene
- Stop handshaking - use other non-contact methods of greeting
- Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds or use
hand sanitizer before meals, after using the restroom, and after coughing or sneezing - Create habits and reminders to avoid touching your face,
and to cover coughs and sneezes - Disinfect surfaces like doorknobs, tables, desks and handrails regularly
Handle food carefully- Limit food sharing
Stay home if:- You are sick, particularly with a fever of 100.4 degrees or above
- You are instructed to stay home by your doctor or the Department of Health
