How to enroll your student at Global Learning Academy...

Step 1: Verify your address.
Enter your student's primary address in the following page. This will tell you if your address is within the school zone of Global Learning Academy.

If your address is NOT in the school zone for Global Learning Academy, please contact the Office of Enrollment Services at the J.E. Hall Center at (850) 469-5580. They will begin the School Choice process for your student(s).
PLEASE BE AWARE: If you enroll through School Choice, your student will NOT qualify for bus transportation. You must drop off and pick up your student.

Step 2: Set up a Focus account for your student.
If your child has never attended an Escambia County Public School, you will need to set up a Focus account BEFORE enrolling. Please use the following link to set up an account:

If your child has previously attended or currently attends public school in Escambia County, move on to step 3.

Step 3: Bring documents to Global Learning Academy.
If your student has their Focus account set up, you are ready to enroll. Come to Global Learning Academy between 7 AM and 2 PM with the following documents:

- Photo ID of the custodial parent
- Birth Certificate of the student
- Immunization Records (Florida Form DH680 or equivalent if out-of-state)
- School Entry Physical Exam (2 pages, filled out by a physician)
- Proof of Residence (Only a utility bill, lease or rental receipt, or homestead exemption document can be used as proof of residence. The proof of residence must contain the address, and the name of the custodial parent or guardian.) 

If you are transferring from another Escambia County Public School, you may only need to bring Proof of Residence. Other documents needed to register are shared between schools.

Additional information:
The only person allowed to enroll a student is the custodial parent or guardian. If your name is not on the student's birth certificate, please bring proof of custody or guardianship at the time of enrollment. 

Bus tickets are not automatic. It may take more than 24 hours from enrollment to process transportation requests. Please be prepared to pick your student up from school on their first day unless a faculty/staff member confirms the student is ticketed for a bus. (Bus ticket confirmations usually occur at orientation for the first week of school; later enrollments are on a day-to-day basis.)

Global Learning Academy is a uniform school. Our uniform colors are navy blue shirts and khaki bottoms.

Pre-Kindergarten information:
Global Learning Academy has both a Voluntary Pre-K program, and an ESE Pre-K program.

Pre-K Registration is not handled by Global Learning Academy directly. In order to register your student for Pre-K, please contact the Title I Office at the Spencer Bibs Center at (850) 595-6915, Ext. 224. Please be aware that voluntary Pre-K slots fill quickly.
