Kevin Adams

    Mr. Adams graduated Cum Laude with two degrees, one in Accounting Technology and the other in Business Administration from Pensacola State College. Mr. Adams was a member of the Alpha Beta Gamma International Business Honor Society. 

    Biography

    Mr. Adams has lived in Escambia County for over 50 years, including the past 30 years at his current residence in the community of Beulah with his wife of 35 years, Vickey. Mr. Adams and his wife have been blessed with three wonderful children, who all procured an excellent education within the public schools of Escambia County. Mr. Adams and his wife both attended elementary, middle and high schools within the Escambia County School District. His grandmother and mother both retired as employees of the Escambia County School District.

    Shortly after graduating from Escambia High School, Mr. Adams spent 10 years as Head Football Coach for Myrtle Grove and Bellview Ballparks. He was also privileged to serve as President of the West Florida High School Quarterback Club for six years.

    Employment

    Mr. Adams retired January 3, 2019, after 38 years of employment with the Department of Defense.  Mr. Adams' last command was with the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), NAS Whiting Field. Mr. Adams also worked for the Naval Air Depot Pensacola (NADEP), NAS Pensacola, as well as, with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, NAS Pensacola (DFAS). 

    Government

    Mr. Adams has served as a member and past chairman of the Escambia County School District One-Half Cent Sales Tax Watchdog Committee and the School Attendance Zone Advisory Committee (SAZAC).
