    The purpose of the Ransom Middle School Honor Society (RMS/HS) is to create an enthusiasm for superior scholarship, to develop citizenship, to stimulate a desire to serve the school and community, to promote student leadership, and to install exemplary qualities of character in the students of Ransom Middle School.

    Membership is based upon scholarship and character.

    All seventh grade students who get all A's and B's and have an overall average (GPA) of 3.8 for all subjects of their report card (for each grading period) will be considered for membership.

    Teacher recommendations/comments also impact membership eligibility.
