We have a "No Personal Checks" policy at Ernest Ward Middle School.  We do not accept checks for any reason.  If you need to make a payment of any kind to the school, you MUST have cash, money order or a certified check from your banking institution.  This includes book fines, fundraising items, uniforms, tickets for school-sponsored events including ball games, dances, etc. If you have reservations about sending cash, you may send the money in a sealed envelope with your child's name printed on the front, and instruct him/her to turn it in to the bookkeeper as soon as he/she arrives at school in the morning or give it to his/her homeroom teacher upon entering homeroom class.  We regret this policy became necessary and are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.   If you have any questions, you may contact the school's bookkeeper's office at 327-4283 ext.404005 .

THIS DOES NOT PERTAIN TO SCHOOL LUNCHES. The cafeteria is separate from the school. You may send your check made out to EWMS cafeteria for lunches.
