• When three downtown schools closed to form a new downtown school, the idea of communities coming together lent itself to Global Learning Academy. Each grade level is continent themed; students who begin at GLA in Pre-K and finish in 5th grade travel the world. Integrating continent themes into lessons, including fine arts, and broadening student horizons makes learning exciting and relevant.
