PINE FOREST FIREFIGHTING ACADEMY MISSION STATEMENT
“Combining youthful exuberance with professional and technical skills to service our community”
The Pine Forest High School Firefighting Academy provides hands-on technical skills in basic fire fighting through a partnership with the Escambia County Fire Rescue Department. The students have the opportunity as first-year students to begin a journey of learning about what the fire service does for our community. Upon graduation from our learning academy, they will have the opportunity to take the test to be a Certified State Firefighter 1, and enroll at George Stone Firefighter Academy. We take pride in providing training to enhance the quality of life and to promote public safety through the use of fire prevention, training, and public education.
