Participation Requirements
ECPS Statement on NIL Policy

Escambia County Public Schools adheres to all rules, regulations and policies established by the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA). Recently, the FHSAA adopted Policy 9.9 in regards to Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). The purpose of this statement is to provide additional guidelines for our student-athletes and families. Any activity related to the use of student-athlete’s name, image and likeness agreement must not (1) interrupt the school day for students; (2) reference the school name, school team, school logo nor school mascot; (3) use any school uniforms; (4) use any school facilities; (5) reference any school awards won by the student-athlete; (6) feature practice or game film; (7) influence attendance at a specific school.

Students in the above-mentioned categories who wish to participate in athletics at Pensacola High must first meet with the Athletic Director to determine if they are eligible to play at PHS.
Prior to the first practice, you will submit all required FHSAA paperwork to the AD at PHS, register with Athletic Clearance, and be cleared by the PHS Athletic Director.
