History
Scenic Heights Elementary School was constructed in 1960 and is nestled among tall pines in a residential area of Pensacola. Through the years new structures have been added to accommodate population and program growth, but the mission has remained the same.
Current student enrollment is approximately 850 students. A diverse student population and strong ESOL program add strength to promoting cultural awareness. Parental involvement through an active PTA and the School Advisory Council have made SHES an award winning institution.
We've received recognitions such as the "Five Star School Award", the "Golden School Award", and various PTA awards.
