As professional school counselors, our goal is to maintain strict confidentiality when it comes to students and parents at Bailey Middle School.  All meetings held with school counselors will remian confidential unless student or parent gives permission to share information with related parties,  However, circumstances do arise when we must disclose information to appropriate professionals based on Florida State Law and Escambia County School District policy.  Our ultimate goal is to keep all children at Bailey Middle safe from harm.  Reasons for reporting include the following:  student in danger of harming self, student in danger of harming others, student in danger of being harmed by others.  HOT Topics this school year seem to be BULLYING and SELF HARM: This school year, the Bailey Counseling team will be developing a plan to address these issues with all the students regarding this.
