The purpose of the Maintenance Services Unit is to develop an effective and efficient maintenance program that provides a well maintained working environment for the students and employees of the Escambia County School District.

Maintenance Services is responsible for the grounds and building maintenance functions for all District facilities. There are thirteen shops that address the different trades for which the Maintenance Services Unit is responsible. The leadership includes the Director, the Assistant Director, six Supervisors and eight Shop Leaders.

 
The Maintenance Services Unit is part of the Maintenance and Custodial Services Department. Our office hours are 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM each work day. We are located at the Hall Center in Building 4. Maintenance Services also has a small shop that services the extreme North End of the District that is located on the campus of Ernest Ward Middle School.

Administrators should call Maintenance Services with any work requests for their facility and to report extreme emergency situations (those jeopardizing life and/or facility safety).
