District Parent & Family Engagement Plan
Title I District-Wide Parent and Family Engagement Plan
The Escambia County Schools Title I District Parent and Family Engagement Plan is jointly developed with parents and community members across the district. The Plan outlines the objectives and expectations for meaningful parent and family engagement. We encourage all Title I Parents and families and the community to view the Plan and share any comments or questions you may have with our Title I Department at 850-595-6915 ext. 8212. The plan is revised each year; however feedback is taken throughout the year.
School-Level Parent & Family Engagement Plans and School-Family Compacts
Individual School Parent and Family Engagement Plans and School-Family Compacts
In support of strengthening student academic achievement, Title I schools receive Title I, Part A funds and therefore must jointly develop with, agree on with, and distribute to parents and family members of participating children a written parent and family engagement plan and school-family compact that contains information required by section 1116(b-d) of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). The plan establishes the school’s expectations for parent and family engagement and describes how the school will implement several specific parent and family engagement activities, and it is incorporated into the school’s plan submitted to the local educational agency (LEA).
