Who is eligible?
Children who have never attended a VPK program and will be attending Kindergarten in Fall of 2023 and live in a Title I attendance zone are eligible for summer VPK. Space is limited and minimum enrollment numbers must be met and sustained for the program to occur.When?
May 29, 2024 - July 22, 2024 with a Holiday on June 19th and July 4th.
(Monday - Thursday, 7:15 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.)
Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
No bus transportation will be provided.Where?

REGISTRATION AND ENROLLMENT STEPS
Step 1: Apply for a VPK Certificate of Eligibility (COE) online or contact the Early Learning Coalition at (850) 607-8556 for assistance. The child’s birth certificate and the parent’s proof of residence must be uploaded when applying.
Step 2: Complete an Escambia County School District online application in FOCUS.
Step 3: Registration begins on April 1, 2024. Once you have been notified of approval, bring the following documents to the Spencer Bibbs Center, located at 2005 North 6th Avenue. (Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00p.m.)
- VPK Certificate of Eligibility (see Step 1)
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of Residence (utility bill or lease agreement)
- Immunization Record
- Physical
