How to Apply for Financial Aid

Apply online at www.fafsa.gov and when prompted, enter George Stone Technical College code 016280.

Wait three (3) business days and verify receipt by calling the Financial Aid department at (850) 941-6200 ext 201216 or ext 201816.

See the Financial Aid Department to discuss eligibility. Once verified, an award letter and deferral, if applicable, will be issued.

Verification

Sometimes the FAFSA application will ask for more information. Documentation for verification may include, but is not limited to, IRS Tax Return Transcript, proof of high school diploma or GED, proof of child support paid, proof of receipt of SNAP benefits, photo ID, number of household members and number in college. Please contact the Financial Aid office if your application is up for verification and have questions about what documentation you will need to provide.
