    The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Program at George Stone Technical College is designed to help adults whose first language is not English. We provide a supportive learning environment where you can improve your English speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills—while preparing for work, citizenship, and further education.

What is the ESOL Program?

  • Our ESOL classes help adults:

    • Communicate better at work and in daily life

    • Understand and fill out forms

    • Practice speaking and listening

    • Improve reading and writing skills

    • Prepare for U.S. citizenship

    • Gain confidence and independence

How to Join the ESOL Program

    1. Apply

    2. Schedule a placement test to determine your current level.

    3. Meet with a School Counselor to enroll.

      1. Bring any Government-issued documents (passport, immigration paperwork, etc)
