Palasciano
Principal
Ms Tara Palasciano
Ms. Tara Palasciano was born and raised in Rochester, New York before settling in Pensacola, Florida with her daughter in 2001. Ms. Palasciano attended The University of Georgia where she received her Bachelor’s of Arts in English. She moved on to Brenau University, in Gainesville, Georgia, where she received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration. After moving to Pensacola, she attended the University of West Florida and achieved her Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership.
Ms. Palasciano has been an employee of the Escambia County School District since September of 2003. She taught language arts/reading and was an Instructional Coach at Ferry Pass Middle School for ten years. Ms. Palasciano then moved into the role of an Assistant Principal in 2014 and served her first year at Bailey Middle School. From 2015-2021 she served as the Assistant principal at Bellview Middle. In December of 2021 she was appointed the Interim Principal at Bellview Middle School and has now returned to Bailey Middle School as Principal.
Ms. Palasciano has earned several awards throughout her years with the school district. She was named Teacher of the Year for Ferry Pass Middle School for the 2004-2005 school year. In 2019, she was named Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year for Escambia County.

Jackson
Mr. Josh Jackson

Please meet Mr. Josh Jackson!
Mr. Jackson was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. He graduated high school from J.M. Tate high school here in Escambia County. From there, he went on to Jefferson Davis Community College and then to the University of South Alabama where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. Mr. Jackson completed his schooling at the University of West Florida where he received a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as a degree Educational Leadership.
As an educator, Mr. Jackson started as a teacher at Warrington Middle School for 1 year and then moved to Ransom Middle School for 4 years as a Math teacher. After that, he became an Administrative Dean for Ransom and served in that position for 8 years. Mr. Jackson then transferred to Ferry Pass Middle school where he served as the Assistant Principal for 4 years.
Mr. Jackson is an Atlanta Braves fan and a Florida Gators fan. His hobbies include woodworking in his shop and playing golf. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing with his daughter.

Juanda Thomas, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Thomas was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from Tucker High School in Dekalb County. From there, she went to Georgia Southern University where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Thomas completed her schooling at the University of Phoenix and Georgia College & State University where she received a Master's degree in Curriculum and Technology and Education Leadership respectively.
