Escambia Educator Evaluation (E3)
The Human Resources Department is responsible for the content and procedures involved with the teacher evaluation process. The Professional Learning Department works collaboratively with the Human Resources Department to develop training for administrators in the implementation of the process and procedures of the Escambia Educator Evaluation System (E3).
The Professional Learning Department provides site- and district-based administrators and teacher-leaders with the process and procedures of teacher evaluation. Resources used in E3 training are available to teachers and evaluators. Please visit ECSD Employee Appraisal Systems.
Professional Development Plan (PDP)
The Director of Professional Learning is responsible for the content and procedures involved with the PDP. The department provides site- and district-based administrators and teachers with the process and procedures of the PDP. Resources used in the PDP training are available to teachers and evaluators. Collaboration with Employee Services/Union
The Professional Learning Director meets with the Escambia Education Association and the district liaison throughout the year to address any issues that may come up within the E3 and PDP programs. The teacher evaluation system was developed collaboratively by a team of district and Escambia Education Association members. The plan has been approved by the Florida Department of Education. The Human Resources Director, Professional Learning Director, and Escambia Education Association Representatives meets throughout the year to discuss any issues that may arise with E3/PDP.
