Jesse Wolfe
Jesse Wolfe has been with Escambia County Public Schools since 2006 and at GSTC since 2013. During that time, he has served as a AAAE (now ASB) Instructor, Graduation Coach, and since 2017 has been the Adult Education Coordinator. Jesse earned his Bachelor of Science in Technology Management from Texas A&M University-Commerce and his Master of Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida.
Jesse got his start in education as a science teacher at Ernest Ward and then Ransom Middle Schools. He brings in over 15 years of experience in Adult and Alternative Education. In addition to his years at GSTC, he has worked at both the Judy Andrews Center and DAART, a residential substance abuse treatment facility for minors.
Jesse feels honored to get to work with the wonderful people at GSTC. He enjoys working with students who have struggled in traditional school settings. One of his favorite quotes is from President John F. Kennedy: "We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win, and the others, too." He likes this quote because he knows that taking that first step in education can feel like going to the moon for some students, but in taking that first step they are changing their lives and the lives of the generations that will follow them.
Jesse is a native of Atmore, AL and has lived in the Pensacola area for most of his adult life. When Jesse is not at GSTC he loves to fish, travel with his family, and watch football with his Pug, Mr. Pugsley.
