Professional Application Process

  • Notice to ALL Applicants
    All applicants offered a position of employment will be required to complete the tobacco-free agreement. Any applicant that has used tobacco products within six (6) months from the date of application will not be eligible for employment.

    Current District Professional Personnel

    You must complete the Online District Application via WinOcular. Current employees are not required to submit the following documents to complete the application process: references, transcripts, copies of certificates. Current employees are requested to submit a current resume to be considered for any position. You are able to upload a pdf version of your resume under Manage Documents.

    All Other Applicants

    Escambia County Public Schools requires that you submit all of the following documentation before you may be interviewed:

    1. Completed Online Application

       

    2. Official College/University Transcripts from all institutions attended emailed to hrgeneral@ecsdfl.us.

       

    3. Three professional references are preferred

       

    4. Copies of any valid State teaching certificate(s) and/or Statements of Eligibility and/or copies of applicable licenses/certificates; if applicable

       

    5. A current resume is preferred.

       


    How to Apply for Specific Positions

    Each time that you wish to apply for a specific vacancy, you will need to:

    1. Login to your application

       

    2. Click on Employment Preferences

       

    3. Click Continue

       

    4. Select Add Position

       

    5. Open the drop down menu (No Selection) and click on the specific job for which you wish to apply

       

    6. Click Continue to return to the previous screen to verify the job has been added. To apply for additional jobs, repeat steps 4-6.

       

    7. Click Agreement. If you agree with the terms type Yes, then click Continue

       

    8. Click Submit.

       

    Employment Requirements

    Upon employment, you will be required to:

    • provide an original Driver's License and Social Security Card
    • provide a copy of your DD-214 (if applicable)
    • be fingerprinted and undergo a criminal history background check
    • submit to pre-employment Drug and Nicotine screening
    • make application for a Florida Educator's Certificate
    • complete an Employment Eligibility Verification form (I-9) and provide documentation of your identity and authorization to work (if applicable)
