Interested in joining our team?
There are a few ways to begin the application and hiring process with Escambia County Public Schools. Please feel free to browse each of the following areas to determine what works best for your situation.
Education Degree Pending: Completed or just finishing up your bachelors degree in education? Look here to find out more about your next steps to becoming employed with the Escambia County Public Schools.
Certified in Florida: This category applies to you if you currently hold a valid temporary or professional teaching certificate from the State of Florida, Department of Education.
Certified in Another State: Have you been teaching in another state, but cannot wait to come to Florida? We are excited to have you! Check here for information on how to apply for reciprocity for your certificate or to obtain a certificate in Florida.
Teaching as a Second Career: If you have your bachelors degree in a non-education major and you are interested in bringing past experience into the classroom, we likely have a spot just for your unique skill set!
Substitute Teaching: Not sure teaching is for you? You may be interested in seeing what it is like before becoming certified. We love our substitute teachers and always have a great need for support in this area.
